Privacy Policy
RTP Studios LLC collects the minimum needed to answer you and to run the business. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
1 · What we collect
- What you send us. When you use the contact form or email us: your name, email address, business name, website, budget range and whatever you write in the message.
- How you got here. The form records referrer and any UTM campaign parameters, plus the page you were on. This tells us which marketing actually works — it is the same attribution we build for clients.
- Technical data. Standard server logs from our host (IP address, user agent, timestamps, pages requested), retained for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics. Aggregate page and traffic data. We do not build advertising profiles.
- Client and billing records. For clients: contact details, project records, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
2 · Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare proposals, deliver and support work you have engaged us for, send invoices and collect payment, keep records required for tax and accounting, secure the site, and understand which marketing channels produce enquiries.
We do not send marketing email to people who simply used the contact form. If we ever run a mailing list it will be opt-in, and every message will carry a working unsubscribe link.
3 · Who it is shared with
Only with service providers who need it to operate the business, and only for that purpose:
- Hosting and forms — our site host, which stores form submissions and serves the site.
- Email — our email provider, to receive and reply to your message.
- Payments — our payment processor, for invoicing and recurring billing. They receive the data needed to process a payment; we never store full card numbers.
- Analytics — for aggregate traffic measurement.
- Accounting and legal — where required to run or defend the business.
We may disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of the business. We do not sell personal information.
4 · Cookies and local storage
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Analytics may set a first-party cookie or use local storage to count visits. Your browser can block or clear these at any time; the site works without them.
5 · How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted. Client and billing records: as long as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes — generally seven years. Server logs: a short rolling window set by our host.
6 · Your rights
Colorado residents have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, and residents of other states may have comparable rights. Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and get a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete information we hold about you;
- opt out of any sale or targeted advertising — noting that we do neither.
Email tony@rtpstudios.com and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity first. If we decline a request you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will reconsider and explain the outcome.
7 · Security
The site is served over HTTPS with security headers set at the edge. Access to client records is restricted and protected by multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information we will notify you as required by law.
8 · Children
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9 · AI processing
We use AI tools in our work. Where an engagement involves processing your business data through an AI provider, that is set out in the statement of work along with the provider used. We do not paste client confidential information into consumer AI tools that train on their inputs.
10 · Changes
We will update this page when our practices change, and revise the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly.
